My Role:

  • Programmed the player’s camera behavior.

    • Coded a responsive camera that follows a fast-acting character while retaining the smoothing/interpolation benefits of slower telegraphed movements.

    • Created a camera boundary system that benefits secrets.

    • Added respective subtle camera feedback for Samus Aran's actions.

  • Took full charge of UI/UX.

    • Overall game-flow.

    • Consistent and detailed transitions.

    • Smooth touch interactions.

    • In-game user customization support (minimap, amiibo™).

    • Eastern regions’ font integration.

    • Navigation clarity/focus.

    • Appropriate feedback systems.

  • Followed strict memory and performance requirements.

  • Collaborated with artists, designers and directors in feature specifications.
