Description: Cyberpunk 2077 is an open-world, action-adventure story set in Night City, a megalopolis
obsessed with power, glamour and body modification. You play as V, a mercenary outlaw going after a one-of-a-kind implant that is the key to immortality. You can customize your character’s cyberware, skillset and playstyle, and explore a vast city where the choices you make shape the story and the world around you.
Credited as: Scene Programmer.
Worked on the Scene System, i.e., an interactive, multi-outcome, cinematic sequence system that governs the game-flow and the behavior of actors (and other game elements) according to the player's current behavior. The player has varying degrees of character movement and camera rotation freedom during scenes, as there are no traditional cutscenes in the game.
Took ownership of scene topics (braindance, holocalls, camera, choices, interruption...) and collaborated with designers and animators in tool and feature specifications.
Created a game composed of open-ended scenes, while retaining top-notch cinematic quality.
Achieved full game immersion by blurring gameplay and narrative.
